BMC to Acquire Tideway Systems

The consolidation in the network and systems management space continues.  This morning, BMC announced that they  have entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Tideway Systems, Ltd. based in the United Kingdom.  Not much is know about the integration of the two firms and the technology stack, but Tideway did announce they expect transaction to be completed in about a week.

BMC has also stated that they will be releasing more information, post acquisition, pertaining to the road map for the two products and what Tideway customers can expect going forward.
