The Ensuing Shift In Systems Management

My experience in systems management spans some 15 years.  I have worked in a operations center for an outsourcing firm, I have held various consulting roles where I was a trusted advisor for Fortune 500 clients engaged on key strategic network and systems management initiatives, and I am currently working as an end user practitioner for one of the largest financial services firms in the United States.

My intention, with a main portion of my blog, is to share my experiences in this space and comment on what I think the future holds for systems management.  Needless to say, the data center of tomorrow is going to look a lot different than the data center of today.  These new data centers are going to require a new sets of tools, processes, and technologies to ensure that they are running at their optimal performance levels.  Stay tuned to the blog and let me know what you think.  I would love to hear what you have to say and what your thoughts and opinions are in this space as well as with IT Service Management as a whole.
